The Central Upstate Region of New York State is particularly rich in land and water resources, and is renowned for its exceptional vegetables and nursery stock, dairy products, and livestock. Strategic partnerships between local farms and educational institutions including SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, SUNY Morrisville and Cornell University have yielded new insights in biomass and biofuels, including plant-based solutions to the world’s energy crisis. |
